WHO IS OMNIPEACE?
Over the past 20 years, OmniPeace Foundation - a 501(c)(3) organization founded by CEO Mary Fanaro, has been committed to uplifting the world’s most vulnerable youth through basic education. They have now expanded their mission to include music education, empowering the next generation of leaders, dreamers, and change-makers through the universal power of music. OmniPeace has built nine schools across four African nations including seven primary schools in Senegal, Mali, and Malawi inside renowned economist, Dr. Jeffrey Sachs’ Millennium Villages; and two groundbreaking music schools in Rwanda including the first music school ever built inside a refugee camp. OmniPeace Foundation has educated over half-a-million children.
THE PROBLEM
Across the nation, students are being left without access to the transformative power of music. Budget cuts and underfunded programs have silenced opportunities for creativity, expression, and healing in schools—leaving millions of children without a vital outlet for growth.

Our Founder, Mary Fanaro
Mary launched OmniPeace in 2007, building nine music schools across Africa before expanding into the Rwanda Rocks Music Schools. With Global Music Box, she brings the power of music to schools, hospitals, juvenile centers, and youth communities worldwide, empowering lives through education and creativity.
Managing Partner, Jimmy Thomas
Jimmy, a Berklee College of Music graduate, has over 30 years of experience in entertainment, holding leadership roles at Def Jam, Ruthless Records, and Motown. As an executive producer at Lion Forge Animation, he helped create the Oscar-winning short Hair Love and continues to innovate in digital media and content.
